Our Apple Tree

Created by Sharoane 8 years ago
I remember when you use to cut my apple into quarters, & say don't eat the seeds you will grow apples inside your tummy, ha ha how I laugh when I hear your words like yesterday.. You put the seeds into a pot and put it on the kitchen windowsill, telling me one day it will be big enough to go in granddads garden. Oh Nana that apple tree, I wish you could have tasted those apples, just like cox's pippins, small and sweet. Each time it bloomed I thought of you, and remembered you having fun about eating the pips. It was my memory from you each year,
just outside the dining room Nana in full view, by we were honoured because that side was Gramps garden patch with all his veggies, where he spent hours nursing his veg, hoeing the potatoes, cabbages, oh he had them all didn't he? Gosh I must have only been around 6yrs old and seems like yesterday in picturesque mind.
You left me so many reminders and never left me, I want the world to know you were an Angel and so loved and always will be dear nana....
