Mary was one of 6 Children, to Henry & Annie Taylor, Annie died in 1939, aged 41, leaving Henry with the children & a widow. Rea played role of mum to siblings after their mother Annie's death.
My great grandfather Henry, around 1940 now a widower with 6 children, and war was imminent & descending.

Evacuations had started around 1939 in Glasgow and times were unsettled, Henry made the decision to move to the North East, Yorkshire, taking Rea, Nancy, Mary, Billy, & Tryphena who was around 5yrs old at the time, Mary being 19

Mary Married Charles Hardy from the North East of England, in 1941 in Scotland but resided in the North East until her early death
